1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Rezu online marketplace platform. Rezu acts only as a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers and does not own, buy or sell any products listed on the platform.
2. Definitions
- Platform – The Rezu website and services.
- User – Anyone using the platform.
- Seller – A registered user selling products.
- Buyer – A registered user purchasing products.
- Listing – A product or service posted by a seller.
- Boost – A paid promotion for increased visibility.
- Subscription – A recurring plan allowing selling features.
3. Eligibility & Account Registration
Users must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into contracts, and provide truthful registration information.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must provide accurate information.
- Must comply with Kenyan law.
4. Seller Verification
All sellers are required to complete identity verification before opening a shop.

- Health & Beauty

- Used Items
6. Prohibited Items
- Counterfeit products
- Illegal drugs
- Weapons
- Pornographic material
- Human trafficking
- Stolen goods
- Pirated software
7. Listing Rules
Listings must accurately describe products, use genuine photos, display prices clearly in KES, and avoid offensive content.
8. Platform Moderation
Rezu reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove listings or accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Payments & Subscriptions
Subscriptions
Selling features require an active subscription after the launch period.
Boosts
Boost fees are non-refundable once activated.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable except where a verified technical fault prevented delivery of the purchased service.
10. Limitation of Liability
Rezu is only a marketplace and is not responsible for product quality, delivery, payment disputes or transactions between buyers and sellers.
11. Intellectual Property
The Rezu name, logo, branding and website design remain the exclusive property of Rezu.
12. Privacy
Rezu collects personal information for verification, fraud prevention, and legal compliance in accordance with Kenyan law.
13. Account Suspension
Accounts may be suspended or permanently terminated for fraud, misrepresentation or violation of these Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
15. Changes
Rezu may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
16. Force Majeure
Rezu is not liable for interruptions caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, cyberattacks and power outages.
17. Account Security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
18. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify Rezu against claims arising from their use of the platform.
19. Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.
20. Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision does not waive Rezu's rights.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between users and Rezu.
